what should the wheel pressure be on a set of Wolfrace Spyder alloy wheels?
I have juts bought osme 18" wolfrace spyder alloy wheels for my celica VVTI 2000 reg. Does anyone know what the tyre pressure should be on these wheels? The previous standard alloys on my celica which were 16" was 32 PSI

- will be the same 32psi
- tire experts say you dont go by the pressure on the tire you use the tire pressure recomended by the manufacturer of the vehicle. that tire pressure is to handel the weight of the vehicle , cornering , stopping and take off , to little and your car can sway or spinout at curvers , wet roads ,skidd at hard stops.to much pressure you loose traction ,go into spinout on wet or and at curvers and causes uneven tread wear read owners manual or check the drivers door jam for tire info
- Follow the tire makers recommended tire pressure. The type of rim has nothing to do with tire pressure. Somewhere on the sidewall if the tire there will be 'recommended pressure. Find that and use.
- The wheels are irrelevant. It is the tire size that determines what inflation pressures you need to run and you did not provide that information. The tires to fit your new 18" rims probably have a lower load index than the 16" tires originally fitted due to the smaller air chamber of the larger but lower profile tire. This requires an increase in tire inflation pressure (up to 10 psi in some cases) but exactly how much depends on the size and load index of both the original and the new tires.
