Will my ears go up?

So after gettting a response from alot of people saying that this is atleast a part blue heeler puppy i was wondering if his ears are going to go up? Im fine with it either was im just wondering http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h227/Plumbaby483/enkei.jpg Im really starting to agree with you that he isn't a blue heeler lol :)

  1. No they will stay this way. They are only up if they are cropped and taped, which I think is inhumane.
  2. I've owned a blue heeler and her ears stuck up when she was a small pup. The dog you have looks like a German Shorthair to me, I love those dogs!! But I don't think it's a heeler, heelers are short and stocky, whereas Shorthairs will grow up to be tall and muscular. Congratulations on your pup! *********** Blue heelers don't have to have their ears cropped, they are that way naturally.

  6. Your dog does not look like a blue heeler!!! It looks identical to a german shorthaired pointer!!! I would have never thought that your puppy was a blue heeler! It has perfect GSP markings. And if it is a GSP, the ears will not stand up. VERY CUTE!!!!! =)
  7. Call me crazy but I don't see Heeler in your dog at ALL. That looks to me like a German Shorthair, possibly purebred! Have a look at this pic and see if you don't agree: http://www.netpetfinder.com/photos/fullsize/2154.jpg Your pup's ears are, for sure, gonna stay floppy ... look at the ears on the puppy in the picture ... they look identical! ADDED: OK, to the moron right below me ... YES I KNOW it's called an Australian Cattle Dog. I called it a "Heeler" because that's what it is often known as and because that is how the ASKER described it.
  8. Ni his ears are to long to stand up but he is a cutie anyway so just keep him like he is and love him. My grandpa had a blue heeler and his ears did go up but your looks more like a mix breed but still loveable and a keeper
  9. Wow, he is adorable. It doesn't look like he will have upright ears. Either way, he's still a good looking puppy.
